Write to us

The fastest way to reach AppFixly is email:

Everything is read. Most messages get an answer within two or three days; a few take longer, usually because answering properly meant testing something first.

What to write about

A guide that did not work. This is the most useful mail we get. Please include the app and its version, your device and its operating system version, and which step it went wrong at. With those three things a guide can usually be fixed the same week. Without them it is guesswork.

A correction. If something here is factually wrong, say so and it will be changed. You do not need to be polite about it.

A suggestion for a guide. If you looked for something and could not find a decent explanation anywhere, that is exactly the sort of thing worth writing about. Tell us what you were trying to do.

A broken or unpleasant advertisement. Ads here are served by outside networks and are not chosen by us, so a bad one is genuinely news. A screenshot helps most, because ads differ by country and we may not be able to see the one you saw.

Anything about your data. Requests to see, correct or delete personal information go to the same address. See the privacy policy for what is held and for how long.

What not to write about

Guest posts and link placement. AppFixly does not publish guest articles, does not sell links, and does not insert links into existing posts for payment. Mail about this is deleted unread. Paid links are against Google’s guidelines and the whole point of the site is that what it says can be trusted.

Requests for cracked or modified apps. We do not have them and will not help find them.

“Please review my app” — with conditions attached. You are welcome to tell us about an app. What cannot be agreed in advance is what the write-up will say.

Before you write about a problem

A large share of the problems people write in about are solved by three things, and it costs five minutes to rule them out:

  • Restart the device. Not the app — the device.
  • Check the app is on its current version, and the operating system on its current update.
  • Check the free storage. Under about a gigabyte, apps begin failing in ways that look like bugs.

If the problem survives all three, write in and please say that you tried them.

About this site

AppFixly is an independent site about apps and software. It is not affiliated with any of the companies whose products are written about here, and it does not speak for them. For anything to do with an app itself — an account, a payment, a lost login — the developer’s own support is the place to go, not us. We cannot recover your account, and any page that claims otherwise is not us.
